Jan Molby Jan Molby was born on 4th July 1963 in Kolding, Denmark. Jan Molby was signed by Joe Fagan in 1984 for £200,000 from Ajax and had a good career at Anfield. He had a varied career at Liverpool, ranging from one of the greatest midfielders Liverpool have ever had to weight problems and a stint behind prison bars. Jeff Stelling Stelling was brought up in the North-East town of Hartlepool and is a supporter of local team Hartlepool United. After an apprenticeship on the local newspaper, his first broadcasting position was as a reporter on Middlesbrough F.C. for Radio Tees before moving to BBC Radio 2's weekend sports programme Sport on 2, covering the Los Angeles and Seoul Olympic games. He later spent time as a sports newsreader at TV-am, Channel 4, Eurosport and British Satellite Broadcasting before moving to Sky in 1992 to present coverage of horse racing, snooker and darts. Mark Wright Mark, started his career at Oxford United and signed professional forms in the 1980/81 season, after only 11 appearances he was bought by Southampton as he had caught the eye. Wright played along side Kevin Keegan and impressed as a player, he was called up to the England squad by Bobby Robson who was looking for a long term replacement for Terry Butcher. After 222 appearances for the Saints in which he scored 11 goals, Wright signed for Derby County, on 8 August 1987. After 171 games for Derby as Captain he was then spotted by Graeme Souness. Jason Cundy Jason Cundy was born on 12th November 1969 in Wandsworth London (not the prison), he played for Chelsea, Tottenham and Ipswich Town. Cundy is famously remembered for the "freak" goal that he scored against Ipswich Town in a Premiership match for Tottenham, in 1992/93. In an attempt to clear the ball away on the half-way line from Jason Dozell (who would then sign with the Spurs), he managed a wind-assisted effort that ended up flying over 'keeper Craig Forrest and into the back of the net. Gordon Banks Gordon Banks Banks, was born in Sheffield 1937 and grew to become not only England's World Cup winning keeper in 1966, but was acknowledged and later officially crowned as the World's Best Goalkeeper in the 1970 World Cup Tournament in Mexico.Yet the story could have been so much different.
